Privacy Policy

MainQuest Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Bogeyless mobile application. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name and profile picture from Google.

Golf profile. You may optionally provide your handicap, how often you play, and your improvement goals.

Swing videos. When you record or upload a video for analysis, that video is uploaded to our servers so our AI can evaluate your swing. The video and the resulting analysis (scores, tips, phase feedback) are stored in your account.

Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. We do not store your payment details. We receive your subscription status from the platform.

Device data. We store a small amount of local data on your device (your theme preference and whether you completed onboarding). We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or analytics telemetry.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the service — authenticating you, storing your videos, and delivering AI swing analysis.
  • To manage your subscription and process payments.
  • To personalize your experience based on your golf profile.
  • To communicate with you about your account if necessary.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following services solely to operate Bogeyless:

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and video storage.
  • Google Gemini AI — your swing videos are sent to Google's AI model for analysis. Google's usage policies apply to this processing.
  • Google Sign-In — if you choose to sign in with Google, your Google ID token is exchanged for a session token.
  • Apple / Google Play — in-app purchase and subscription management.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

4. Camera, Photos & Microphone

Bogeyless requests access to your camera and photo library to record or select swing videos. Microphone access is requested because video recording includes audio. These permissions are used exclusively for swing video capture — we do not access your camera, photos, or microphone for any other purpose.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. All communication uses HTTPS encryption. Database access is protected by row-level security — you can only access your own data. Video URLs are time-limited (1 hour) and cannot be shared.

6. Data Retention

Your account data and swing videos are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's Settings screen.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the address below. If you are in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. Children's Privacy

Bogeyless is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the app or on our website.
